TREE PLANTER AGREEMENT-Please pay and sign.
The Crow Wing Soil and Water Conservation District has a tree planter available for use on a first come basis. This is for use behind a tractor with a A $100 deposit is required. This deposit is refundable when the tree planter is returned in an acceptable condition, determined by SWCD staff.
A $100 dollar/day fee for use of the planter is required, with a signed agreement.
Red Tree Planter from Detco Mfg: This unit is designed to plant in fallowed ground. Pre till is not required, and not recommeded. We recommend pre mowing with a bush hog if you have tall weeds, brush or crop refuse. Not suitable for very rocky areas. Horse power requirements are 32 to 70 hp. 20 inch coulter, with 2 seats. Green Tree Planter from Miller Equipment and Mfg: This unit is designed to plant in fallowed ground. Pre till is not required, and not recommeded. We recommend pre mowing with a bush hog if you have tall weeds, brush or crop refuse. Not suitable for very rocky areas. Pull type Tree Planter, Model P0424, Horse power requirements are 32 to 70 hp. 22 inch coulter, with 2 seats. Electric Pump, 12 inch plow depth, 3 inch shoe width.
