The Crow Wing Soil and Water Conservation District has a tree planter available for use on a first come basis. This is for use behind a tractor with a A $100 deposit is required. This deposit is refundable when the tree planter is returned in an acceptable condition, determined by SWCD staff. 
A $100 dollar/day fee for use of the planter is required, with a signed agreement.
 
Detco Mfg: This unit is designed to plant in fallowed ground. Pre till is not required, and not recommeded.  We recommend pre mowing with a bush hog if you have tall weeds, brush or crop refuse.  Not suitable for very rocky areas.  Horse power requirements are 32 to 70 hp. 20 inch coulter, with 2 seats.
